Welcome to Little Village Childcare - a place for children to grow, learn and play.
Little Village Child Care is a Home Based Private Legal Daycare located in Burlington, Ontario (Appleby line/Upper Middle rd and Corporate drive Quadrant). We follow all aspects of Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA).
Our Daycare Focus is based on PLAY and learning from each other with a mix of ages from Toddlers to Preschoolers (starting age 12 month).

Welcome ! My name is Cynthia, I've been providing quality care for families since 2010. I have a Bachelor’s in Economics with a Major in Economics. I have been learning, educating and gaining expertise in the past 13 years in the Childcare field.
Taken all 3 Levels of the Halton Child Care Provider Training.
Current First Aid and CPR training for children and infants.
I'm part of the Halton Child Care Provider's Association.
I have childcare insurance.
I have current Police Check with vulnerable sector screening.
Ongoing workshops and training childcare related.
I am a qualified provider and mom with lots of experience, be sure that your child will be in great hands !

Hours of Operation
8:00am to 4:20pm Monday to Friday. Our daycare is teacher friendly, is great for families that can work around that schedule. September to June. Inquiry about Summer Care and extra hours.
Services
Full time services: Child care contracted for 5 days per week.
Part time services: Child care contracted for less than 5 days per week, but including full consecutive days. I don't provide half day rates. Minimum 3 days for PT spots.
My services include 2 snacks and 1 lunch. All food are homemade food in accordance to Canada's Food Guide. We also have special treats for special days !
Your child will have the opportunity to explore, gain experience, and have social interaction with different age groups, through a variety of daily activities, including use of manipulatives that encourage hand-eye coordination, fine and gross motor skills.
Rates
Full Time:
$ 63 per day for a child under 2 years old (24 months) and over 2 years old (24 months).
Part Time :
$ 65 per day for a minimum of 3 days a week for a child over or under 2 years old (must be pre-booked).
PA Days available for school age children. Inquiry .
Fees paid are for providing quality child care. Fees are not based in amount of hours, they are for reserving your child's full day spot. Please note these is not a babysitting service this is for providing your child a friendly, loving, caring and learning environment of quality care
expenses associate with childcare.
The fees include pay for any statutory or civic holidays.* Refer to Parent Handbook for specific days.
Payment
At the time of sign up I will require a security deposit equal to 2 week of childcare. Deposit is NON REFUNDABLE for any reason and will go towards the last 2 weeks of child care. Payment for the first week of care is due on the first day of care. If your child doesn't come the last 2 weeks of care deposit will be forfeit.
A $1 per minute/per child fee is charged for an early or late drop off, unless previous arranged.
A $ 5 per day late fee will be assessed if payment is not received.
Payment can be done via EMT or cash.
Taxes
My home daycare is a Legal Private Daycare, for which I provide Tax Receipts for all my families at the end of the year.
I do not provide subsidy. I am not part of the CWELCC.
